The awkward questions.
What happens if we stop paying for hosting?
You get the data directory and the database. It is the same binary, so it starts on your own box with the same records, the same timeline and the same API keys. That is what “no lock-in” has to mean to be worth saying.
Does the self-host license expire?
No. It is perpetual: the version you buy keeps running for as long as you run it. Whether future versions are included is part of what is still being finalised — ask, and we will put the answer in writing before you buy.
Is there a per-seat charge?
Not on self-hosting: one license covers your team. Hosted pricing is not settled yet, which is precisely why this page does not print a number for it.
Can we try it first?
Yes — that is the honest use of the contact form. Tell us the systems your customer data lives in and we will set up a trial instance or walk you through the self-host install on a call.
